Di tahun 2014, hampir semua vendor perangkat mobile kenamaan disebut akan berlomba-lomba meluncurkan perangkat wearable atau perangkat yang dipakai di tubuh. Salah satunya adalah Nokia yang dikabarkan tengah menyiapkan sebuah perangkat jam tangan pintar (smartwatch).
Menurut sebuah laporan, jam tangan ini diharapkan akan meluncur pada semester kedua tahun 2014, dan akan tetap mengusung nama Nokia, meskipun divisi Devices and Services Nokia sudah dibeli Microsoft.
Menurut yang dilansir Phone Arena, Senin (23/12/2013), jam tangan pintar tersebut akan mengadopsi teknologi yang ada pada Nokia Morph - sebuah perangkat tablet futuristik yang bisa mengubah bentuk dan ukuran menjadi smartphone dan smartwatch.
